Willard W. Millikan (b. 1918, Hamburg, Iowa-d. Sept. 1, 1970), U.S. Air Force officer, enlisted in the Royal Air Force and earned his pilot wings, then joined the Army Air Corps in 1942. He became commander of the 336th Fighter Squadron of the 4th Fighter Group, destroying 15 German aircraft before forced to bail out over enemy territory. Gladys Noon Spellman (b. March 1, 1918, New York City, NY–d. June 19, 1988, Rockville, MD) graduated from the George Washington University (Washington, D.C.). She taught in Prince George's County, MD schools before entering politics. Spellman was appointed by Pres. Lyndon B. Johnson to the Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations in 1967 before serving in Congress (1975-1981) for Maryland's 5th district.
